Notice of Terms of Service Update Due to the Enforcement of the AI Basic Act

We wish you a happy and prosperous New Year in 2026.

We’re reaching out in advance to let you know that Flamel’s Terms of Service will be updated as follows.

1. Effective Date

  • Notice Date: Friday, February 13, 2026

  • Effective Date: Monday, March 16, 2026

2. Reason for the Update

  • To reflect new provisions related to advance notice for AI-based services and labeling of AI-generated content (including deepfakes) in accordance with the enforcement of the Framework Act on Artificial Intelligence Development and Trust-Based Foundation.

  • To clarify user obligations and prohibited activities regarding ownership of rights/consents for uploaded materials, for stable service operation and user protection.

  • To clarify disclaimers by reflecting the technical characteristics of generative AI outputs (e.g., errors, bias, hallucinations).

3. Key Changes (Summary)

  • New provisions regarding advance notice for AI-based services and AI-generated content labeling (AI labeling) added (Article 11-2).

  • Clarification of technical limitations of generative AI outputs and the user’s responsibility to review outputs (Article 11-3).

  • Strengthened rules on having the necessary rights/consents for input materials (uploaded content), prohibition of unauthorized uploads and unauthorized compositing (including deepfakes), and prohibition of tampering with or removing AI labels (Articles 12 and 14).

  • Clarification of the scope in which Flamel may use input materials and generated content to the extent necessary for providing and improving the service (however, use of input materials for external promotion/public disclosure is restricted unless separately agreed) (Article 14).

  • Updates to the limitation of liability provisions (aligned with Article 11-3) (Article 29).

5. Objection and Termination (Account Deletion)

If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you may terminate the service agreement (delete your account) using one of the options below:

  • In the Service: [Profile > Account Info > System > Delete Account]

  • Customer Support Email: hello@flamel.app

If you do not express your refusal by Sunday, March 15, 2026 (30 days after the notice date), or if you continue using the service after the effective date, you will be deemed to have agreed to the updated Terms.
